Spinning Cards Made Easy

Spinning cards are lots of fun to make, and it’s easy to personalise them to whoever is going to receive your card. Designer Vicky Sheridan has used the Perfect Vacation collection by US scrapbooking brand, Imaginisce, to create this fun camera card, but you could use the spinner technique with any papers and stamps to create a unique look.

1. Cut a 14x8.5cm piece of red patterned paper. Add a piece of black card topped with white card to form your camera flash.

2. Add little pieces of black card to the top to form your camera buttons. Add a 6x8.5cm piece of card trimmed at an angle.

3. Trim a circle of white card 6cm in diameter and stamp six phrases around the outside edge. Cut a black circle of the same size.

4. Cut out a section from the black circle so one of the sentiments on the white card can be read. Fasten the two together with a brad.

5. Stick your spinner to the card front with foam pads. For the lens, cut a circle 4cm in diameter from silver card and attach.

6. Stick the camera panel to a 14x8.5cm card base made from white card. Trim the edges so they taper to form a camera shape.
