Summer is here!

Well, summer seems to be here, and I am trying very hard to design for Christmas (shudder). It comes around so fast! I need to start planning 12 Christmas projects to teach and I can only think about going on holiday...sun, sand, sea, moussaka and ouzo - heaven. I am also distracted from concentrating on Christmas as I am enjoying playing with new designs that some creative viewers of Create and Craft have sent me. Such fun! I am looking forward to meeting lots of lovely crafters at the Summer Crafting event at Doncaster in July. I am taking workshops on the Friday and demonstrating all day Saturday and Sunday. I just love the consumer shows. It’s great to chat and share tips and techniques. Some of you crafters are so clever, I always learn something new from you.

I have been very indulgent lately. I have to confess to buying 156 ProMarkers. I absolutely love them! I do admit, I've been neglecting stamping because I love water-colouring the image (which takes up so much time) and I got out of the habit but ProMarkers have made me re-visit my stamp stash. I have also been buying a lot of Dimension Fourth stamps recently. What I really need is more time!

Jonathan (my hubby) has been setting up a mini studio at home so I can do some tutorial DVDs but I can't stop crafting. My craft room is in such a mess and when I go to tidy up, I always find something that inspires me to make more samples. My worktop is now three foot deep and I can easily get lost behind it. He only knows I am in there because he can hear Create and Craft on my telly.

At the moment, I am so in love with Kanban card, I think I have become a collector. I get two of everything, one to use and one to stroke. I have recently 'found' a stash of crafting goodies over two years old and still
don't want to use some of it. Sounds familiar I bet!
