How To…Make the Card

  1. Cover the front of a 150x203mm cream base with pale pink card, and then attach a 145x198mm piece of floral Madame Payraud paper, distressing all edges with Tattered Rose Distress Ink, as you go.

  1. Die-cut four flowers in varying sizes using the Tattered Floral die, and alternating between dark pink card and Madame Payraud paper for each layer.

  1. Wipe over the dark pink flowers with the VeraMark inkpad, sprinkle with Gold and Tattered Rose embossing powders and emboss with a heat tool. Distress the Madame Payraud flowers with Tattered Rose Distress Ink. Assemble flowers and set to one side.

  1. Die-cut two fancy corner shapes from pale pink card using the Trim Border corner die and heat emboss with the Gold powder. Attach with double-sided tape, as shown. Secure flowers to base using a glue gun, as shown.

  1. Die-cut three pennant shapes: two from pale pink card and one from Madame Payraud paper in varying sizes. Distress the edges using Tattered Rose Distress Ink and layer. Make up the ‘Just a Note’ greeting from Mini Alphabet Stickers, distressing the edges with Tattered Rose Distress Ink, as you go. Attach to base.

  1. To finish, add 30mm loops of ribbon and lace to flowers, as shown. Decorate with buttons and pearls, to finish.
