There is a food challenge being run by the magazine on here....one person has decided to upload 4 cards, not a problem as such but these cards dont belong to them - they all have different watermarked names across the images!

Why do people do this? What do they get out of it?

I have entered my 'own' projects, but the watermark does not relate to my username on here.
But they ARE my own projects. I hope you don't mean mine!

It's very sad that people cheat, but it's hard to stop. Every time we upload images we are at risk of them being stolen, with or without watermarks. I know some of men have been taken from another forum gallery in the past, all you can do is ask the user to remove them. For me it was a online shop that 'stole' my images.... Their excuse was they thought it was ok!!!! xx

Hi all

We did notice the problems with the Food Challenge - unfortunately I don't have the appropriate privileges to get the user's email address, but I have contacted the site admin staff so I can warn the user. Rest assured, we had noticed the problem and they won't be winning the competition.
