I was idle - not even crafting for a week while my knee was so bad - but then had lots to catch up with. Market reopened yesterday and that focused my mind back on crafting, although what really got me going again was the need for a sepcial card for my son's 40th birthday. This is what I came up with: not my usual style but he really liked it.

I followed that with these two made with a Dawn Bibby kit. I didn't like the way she did them on TV but liked another demonstrator's idea with a different kit!! I lined the aperture with acetate and stuck the cut out onto the insert which I stuck to the front of the card, rather than the back. This way you can still see it when the cards are stood up and the greeting inside remains private to the recipient.

And again I used another idea to turn this one into an easel card. The cut out is attached to the frame on the inside edge.

By then I guess I had the bit between my teeth again and came up with these. I used a backing paper from the Create and Craft magazine and butterflies from a local discount shop.
