Hi Alice. I looked at the FAQ section last week and found no answers to FAQs as on the old forum but found a lot of new members were introducing themselves in that section and so missing out on getting to know us old hands - because we rarely ever used that section. From the older messages there it looks as though some had started doing this before the change over. What is FAQ supposed to stand for now?

Hi Alice
I'm trying to upload photographs but am having problems. I finally found some software that resizes the photo but when I try to upload it, I get taken back to a blank "post new topic" box.
Please help, I've made lots of cards recently and would love to upload them and get some feedback.
Thanks in advance
Kathleen

Hi Alice

Sadly I don't like that there are alot of postings that are advertising the selling of items and the seem to be all over the forum no mater which area you look at, and they appear to be from other countries outside the UK. I have reported some of these but nothing seems to be happening, i.e. the post being removed. Please, please can this be sorted out before members leave the forum in droves.

Thank you
Arwen

I have to agree with Arwen. I used to love this forum - over 6000 posts shows that - but have given up on it in recent months as there is just so much spam it's hard to find the genuine posts and in a low speed broadband area that's not funny. I've switched to another craft forum (Craft Creations) but preferred this one when it was just for crafters. Now it seems to be 90% or more for spammers. A great shame - can nothing be done about these menaces?

If this is faster than the old forum, I dread to think how bad that was. I find it very slow, quite frustrating.
