I husband is 40 at the end of June. I am having an operation on my arm on the 7th of June that will stop my cardmaking for a couple of months or so. I need some ideas quick please. I always finding it hard to make cards for men.

When I make cards I always start with what sort of things they are interested in. (Could be cars, footie, running, music, fishing, gardening.) Then I look thorugh my collection of cardstock and CDs for images/designs. If I can't find anything suitable I may look for images on the internet that aren't copyrighted. When you have the subject try looking in the magazines for more inspiration.

I know this is too late for the person who originally asked, but in case someone else needs help I thought I'd add my .02 cents.

Along with what everyone else has said, I think anything nature-like is a good start. I am including a picture of a card I recently made for my brother-in-law to give you an idea. This card would be good for a woman or a man. Just change out the greeting, and this card would be suitable for birthdays, graduation, sympathy, thank you, etc.
