I got it mainly because I can get everything done and turn it on and when I'm in work late (4 times a weeek)everything is ready for when OH gets in and the kids don't have to get anything ready

Dawn , you wont regret buying the slow cooker. Mine is in constant use. I rarely use my oven now.
( I did a boiled ham...... uhhhhhhhhhh...the beef ?? uhhhhhhhhhhhI dont think I need say anymore)
