Promarkers

Postby EileenC » Tue Jun 28, 2011 3:44 pm

I am quite new to stamping and colouring with promarkers - I've watched demonstrations on UTube and have bought myself 2 of the blending sets (pastel and muted) as well as a skintone set. I'm now looking at the millions of other colours and am totally at a loss as to what to buy and what would go with and blend with what if you know what I mean. I'd like to build up my stock of promarkers and need a chart or something to see the colours and numbers - and how do you know what colour is 1 shade darker or lighter - I'm probably just missing the info somewhere so would appreciate being pointed in the right direction. I've also discovered the joy that is magnolia Tilda stamps - how sweet are they!!!!
hugs

Have you tried the Letraset site? They do colour charts and give you loads of info and tips.

Woo Hoo - thank you for that, I dont know why I didn't think to check out the actual site (senior moment perhaps) and my copy of CM&PC arrived this morning so I take that as a sign that I should continue to collect promarkers and stamps (especially the Tilda ones that I have taken a real liking to).
Well - now all I have to do is practise, practise, practise - hmmmmm crafting or housework........no choice really now where did I leave my ink pads [:D][:D][:D]

I personally find that I use skin tones and the lighter shades the most often, along with a few other favourites and the greys. They are great for shadowing.
