Cricut... Expression 2 or Imagine?

Postby Tammie_M3ENF » Sat Jan 21, 2012 7:11 pm

Hi all!

Trying to decide between the Expression 2 and Imagine by Cricut. Both seem horrendously expensive but I am leaning towards the Imagine.

I'm new to these machines and so have been researching what they do and what they're capable of.

So far I've found Hobbycraft do the Imagine for £499... does anyone know if anywhere else is cheaper?

I'm not into Cricut but have seen their machines for less than £499 on Create and Craft TV. It might be worth looking on their website for any recent offers. www.createandcraft.tv

I used to have a Cricut Baby Bug. When I had bought about 20 cartridges I put a stop to it. I looked at my cartridges and would only use about 5 different images!!!! It was getting too expensive. I now have a Pazzles Inspiration electronic die cutting machine. I LOVE IT :P and use it for all my crafting projects. No cartridges! Please take a peep at my blog and see some of the things I make with my Pazzles. I have had it about 2yrs and not regretted it. http://ilove2cutpaper.blogspot.com/

I have the E2 and love it
now I have friends who have got the imagine but most have returned theirs
the main complaint was they had to keep rebooting it and it used up all the ink that way.

I still love all my other machines as well so I use what I need when I need it
