Buy a cheap can of hairspray and use to spray over chalked designs rather than splashing out on expensive fixatives.

time spent on cards
Yes I agree with Jen44. If it's pretty straightforward it's usually about 11/2 hours. but if it's elaborate and your cutting leaves, borders, flowers etc. say for a bookatrix card it can take up to 5 hours!.

How long do I spend on making a card
It very much depends on what the card is for and how much embellishment and decoration is required.

Really depends on the card that you are making how much work goes into it if stamping and colouring with promarkers can take a good while unless you want a job thats not perfect
